Durian Crepe

Salam,

My dear friend, Abby asks me for durian crepe's recipe.
I got it from the internet actually but i forgot from which site. Huhu..
So here's the recipe (originally from the internet)...

a) the Crepe. haha

*hope u guys could read my handwriting. hehe. *sb=sudu besar *st=sudu teh

Tips (from my hands on, etc.) :
        1) adjust the amount of water, doesnt necessarily use 160ml.
The final mixture should have that pancake-like mixture.
        2) vanilla powder = i used vanilla essence, half teaspoon.
        3) i add a lil bit of salt.
        4) 40ml susu cair = i use fresh milk.
        5) as my durian crepe is for non-commercial purposes, i use very little coloring.
        6) 50g of flour = around 5 to 6 crepes. haha. it depends on the size and thickness of ur durian crepe. :)
        7) use non-stick pan with slow heat.
        8) when u cook it, do not flip it over. just let the upper part kinda dry.
        9) if you prefer thick crepe, buatlah tebal2. hehe. if thin, buat nipis2 k.
I like a lil bit thick. so, yeah. haha

b) Le Cream
hehe.. i used the extra whip cream from my Tiramisu.
so basically, for the cream, i whipped Paul's thickened cream with Philadelphia Cream Cheese. haha
put them in the fridge for at least one whole night before i use it for my durian crepe.

So, when both parts are ready, here comes the wrapping part.
1) when you spread the crepe,  make sure the ugly part (the brownish part of the crepe) is on top.
2) put some cream, then durian flesh (jangan taruh biji mahupun duri ok.haha), then cream again.
3) then kasikk bungkus cantik2. hehe.

and most importantly, nak lagik sedapppp....
keep your durian crepes refrigerated + you can dip it with some choc : )

Happy trying :)

p/s: Exam is done, Alhamdulillah :) . thank you all for your prayers :)

Universal Studios Singapore (USS)

Salam.

Hi uols.
how are you? sihat? :)

ok, as i promised before, i'll be writing on USS.
and coz im so rajin and baik, i will include some tips and stuff bout USS.
important ok. hope it will help those who wanna go there.

PRE

1. Make sure you know how you would be going there. like seriously, plan your transportation, accommodation, places to visit, etc. (know where you would be heading to!)
2. Passport bebeh! minimum is 2years for RM150. bring along 2 passport size photos or else you have to take photos there (consume more time and you cannot choose your photo) + bring along your old/ expired passport if you have one.
3. Money! convert your money siap-siap. if you just go to USS, no shopping, no fancy restaurant, travel cheap, i think SGD 250 would be enough.
4. Pack ur bags! :)  - and for one day trip, i just brought a big handbag. backpack would be more comfortable actually. Buy poncho/ raincoat at Malaysia yang murah tu je cukop. Bring some breads (to alas perut) + drinking water.
*as for communication/ cellphone line, i use Maxis, and it is connected, the line is pretty good. my friend uses Celcom and didnt get the line there.

TRAVELLING

a) LCCT to Changi Airport
We went to Singapore by AirAsia. all in return tix cost me around RM 238.
the journey took about an hour (LCCT to Changi Airport)

b). Changi Airport to USS
so here...
  • From the airport, head to the Arrival Hall and go to the immigration.
  • Head to Skytrain T2 (to get to the SMRT) . usually you dont have to wait that long to board the Skytrain and it is free. :)
  • once you reach SMRT, buy yourself (through the machine or counter) a return ticket to Harbourfront. I didnt buy return ticket (God knows why) but it would be easier if you directly buy it. one way tix to Harbourfront cost SGD3.3
*and here's the thing, some people suggest that we buy EzLink card. we asked the SMRT lady and she said that it is not worth it to buy EzLink. The price is SGD12. The card itself cost us SGD5. So only SGD7 credited at the first time. and the card cannot be refunded.

*be careful while boarding MRT. when its door is closing (you'll hear the sound), you should not attempt to squeeze in. the door is really closing tight, even with people in between. I saw it happened! scary! huhu
  •  So by now, you should be on the MRT heading to Tanah Merah Station.
  •  Once you reach Tanah Merah station, hop off and board MRT heading to Joo Khon
  • So dont wait until Joo Khon. lol. stop at Harbourfront station. you will be in the Vivo City Mall. No...dont shop! haha. go to level 3. get a monorail ticket to Sentosa Station (USS). it costs SGD 3 (you wont be paying/ needing a new tix to get here back from USS later. it is kinda like a return tix though not stated). and the queue might be long here. while on the ride, enjoy the scenery! :)
  • yippie yaya! you've reached USS!!~ :)
*and you'd be going back to Changi airport, etc using the same route :
~USS/Sentosa station - Harbourfront  = Free (but usually if you go back at night, it would be a long queue from USS)
~Harbourfront- Changi (with a few station stops) = SGD 2.4

USS

TIPS: you could buy USS tix online or on the spot. it costs SGD74 (counter price). ive heard that sometimes, the queue is crazyyy.. but luckily, we went there on Thurs and the queue wasnt that bad. :)

a) things not to miss! :
so no matter how tight your schedule is, you CANNOT miss this ........

1. taking pics at the USS globe! like seriously, you never been here if you didnt get a photo or yourself there! a must-snap spot! lol

and this ............

2. the crazy roller coaster ride. two types: Battlestar Galactica Cyclone and Human.
Both are crazy. My left leg was cramped (yet i still rode both) and hilang ok cramp kaki i lepas naik. lol
and let me tell you, the first roller coaster (yang dekat dengan Ancient Egypt) sangat nak terkeluar tekak jerit. menjunam ok. and the other one, your legs will be hanging. so if you think your shoes size 10, kaki size 8, cabut siap2 lah kasut k!
*do skip this ride if you are preggy or have heart prob, etc ok! hehe

3. and at Sci-Fiction too, you should not miss Transformers the Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle. Seriously worth the wait and queue. you will feel like a hero afterwards. lol

4. and another one,  Revenge of The Mummy (Ancient Egypt). Awesome indoor ride!

b) Entrance
-no bag checking. sooo...yeah. :)
-you could bring drinking water or just empty bottle. there are lots of water cooler. so you could just sip it from there or refill your bottle.

c) Toilet
-clean and lots. if you are looking for the one with water hose, look further at the end of the cubicles! lol.

d) Surau
- a few.
- i used the one that is located in between the Ancient Egypt and Sci-Fic. it was no that big but good enough.
wudhu place and telekung + sejadah are provided (though not so harum..lol)

e) Locker
-It is relatively secured and password protected.
-The space could allow two big handbags in. it is free for the first 30minutes. You need to pay if you use it for more than 30mins. So, take some of ur money and put in ur pocket, in case you exceed 30mins.
-most of the ride, would be easy without your bags. especially if your bags are big. but if im not mistaken, only the roller coaster rides at Sci-Fict do not allow bags or even phones. (they 'metal detecting' you ok.haha)

f) if it is raining (heavily), all the outdoors activities will be stopped until the weather is ok  (if it is drizzling, usually the outdoors are still on). so dont take too long to move you legs to the indoor activities. ask the workers. and move there fast. if not, you would be caught up in long queues and waiting for lockers to be emptied.

When we went there, it was sunny at first but near to evening, it was raining. so poncho comes handy and trendy. so people, dont forget to buy raincoat/poncho at Malaysia (it costs RM3.50 at Watson and RM3.00 at Guardian. if u buy it in USS, it costs u SGD3).

Plus, you will be needing one (if you do not intend to get wet) while playing water boat at Jurassic Park.
Water could be splashing inside the boat and kena your baju or kasut. so be prepared to get wet without poncho. and your shoes, if you didnt bring slippers/ extra shoes, just take em off, put em in a plastic bag and carry em on your lap! *alert with your camera/ phones, bungkus dalam plastik or put em in locker!*

However, if it is raining, your shoes WILL get wet! lopak air, with hujan jatuh on your shoes, basah ok! that's why kaki i cram. so nak senang, pakai kasut material crocs tuh. hehe. or bring extra slippers. but comfy shoes/ sandals are a must ok! ko taknak wat drama lenguh melecet tengah-tengah berseronok ok!
and yeah, you could also bring extra shirt/pants. not necessary but you could if you want to.
and the most important thing, be SAFE, ENJOY yourself, and SNAP lotsa picturesss! :)

ok, the hats were smelly but bearable! :p

flying kiss from Princess Sara. eh? hehe

we visited Shrek's house too :p

and oh yes, USS is prettier at night! hehe

 and againn... haha

JoM! :)

Bismillah

Salam.

Seriously,
i feel kinda panic n stress right now.
feels like there are lotttttts of things to do in this so little time.
but having a panic attack would not help in any big way.
so yeah, let's pray that ALLAH would ease everything,
may everything go smoothly.

BISMILLAH.

p/s: breathe in, breathe out Sara. calm down.. you are stronger than this!
you can do it! Insya ALLAH.

Bubbles

Salam,

Kata pujangga,
hidup tanpa pegangan,
ibarat buih-buih laut yang akan pecah pada bila-bila masa.
Benar dan buatku terfikir.
Ditolak ke tepi, tepilah ia.
Ditolak ke depan, bergeraklah ia.
Tiada daya lain, di situ lah ia.
Datang ombak memukul,
pecah berderai, berganti lain.
Buih.
Mudah dipengaruhi, mudah ditolak ke sana sini, mudah pecah, mudah dicari ganti.
Tetapkanlah pendirian, ikutilah pegangan.
Jangan biar diri kau berlinangan.
Kau bukan buih.
Kau ombak yang punya daya.

p/s: it is mondayy. and it's DECEMBER.
