Durian Crepe

Salam,

My dear friend, Abby asks me for durian crepe's recipe.
I got it from the internet actually but i forgot from which site. Huhu..
So here's the recipe (originally from the internet)...

a) the Crepe. haha

*hope u guys could read my handwriting. hehe. *sb=sudu besar *st=sudu teh

Tips (from my hands on, etc.) :
        1) adjust the amount of water, doesnt necessarily use 160ml.
            The final mixture should have that pancake-like mixture.
        2) vanilla powder = i used vanilla essence, half teaspoon.
        3) i add a lil bit of salt.
        4) 40ml susu cair = i use fresh milk.
        5) as my durian crepe is for non-commercial purposes, i use very little coloring.
        6) 50g of flour = around 5 to 6 crepes. haha. it depends on the size and thickness of ur durian crepe. :)
        7) use non-stick pan with slow heat.
        8) when u cook it, do not flip it over. just let the upper part kinda dry.
        9) if you prefer thick crepe, buatlah tebal2. hehe. if thin, buat nipis2 k.
            I like a lil bit thick. so, yeah. haha

b) Le Cream
hehe.. i used the extra whip cream from my Tiramisu.
so basically, for the cream, i whipped Paul's thickened cream with Philadelphia Cream Cheese. haha
put them in the fridge for at least one whole night before i use it for my durian crepe.


So, when both parts are ready, here comes the wrapping part.
1) when you spread the crepe,  make sure the ugly part (the brownish part of the crepe) is on top.
2) put some cream, then durian flesh (jangan taruh biji mahupun duri ok.haha), then cream again.
3) then kasikk bungkus cantik2. hehe.

and most importantly, nak lagik sedapppp....
keep your durian crepes refrigerated + you can dip it with some choc : )

cendol pun sedap kan? hehe

Salam.


As the Snickers' advertisement proudly says,

"Anda lain macam bila lapar..."

true enough..
cranky, fatigue, and worse...
you feel like eating everything..
everything looks yummy, even Mamee instant noodles -_-
and you start to crave for many things (note: not only food).

so my current craving after cakes, homemade choc chips cookies, lasagne, macaroni cheese, etc...
is this, 



yes, PAVLOVA...
nanti aku buat! insya ALLAH.

Resepi Puding Roti Sos Kastard

Salam.

Satu lagi resepi mudah..

Puding Roti Sos Kastard...
(Resepi google di My Resepi)



Bahan-bahan

Bahan A
  • 500 ml susu segar/fresh milk (aku guna Anlene powder- 4-5 sudu makan, bancuh dengan air suam sampai 500ml)
  • 8 keping roti (gardenia/high 5)
  • * boleh letak Kismis / Coklat chips (optional)
Bahan B
  • 4 s/b gula halus
  • 2 s/b butter - cairkan sebentar atas api
  • 2 biji telur ayam
  • 1 sudu teh esen vanilla
  • 1 s/b tepung jagung
  • 1 s/b serbuk kayu manis/cinnamon powder *(optional) (i dont quite like cinnamon so, tak letak..huhu)
Bahan C (sos kastard)
  • 1 tin susu cair
  • 2 s/b tepungkastad (seriously, takyah banyak2.)
  • 2 s/b gula (nak guna madu pn ok)

Cara-cara

  1. Hancurkan /koyakkan roti dan rendam dalam susu 1/2 jam (or susun jela cantik2, koyak roti sket2 letak kat rongga mana2. kalau letak kismis or choc chips, leyh lah sorok2 di antara susunan roti itew).
  2. Kacau dan gaul rata bahan B. Tuangkan ke dalam loyang bersama dgn bahan A yg telah direndam.
  3. Bakar dalam suhu 180'C selama 30 minit/masak (or, adjust sendiri ikut oven memasing). Biarkan sebentar sebelum disejukkan dlm fridge.
  4. Gaulkan bahan sos kastad dan masakkan diatas api yg sederhana sebentar (kalau pekat sangat or bergumpal, tambah air and teruskan kacau dengan api perlahan).
  5. Tuangkan sos diatas puding semasa menghidang. 

walau nampak tak berapa cantik, tapi kilauan tuh penting ok :D

Tira..tira..tiramisu..su!

Salam.

Hi.
Hari tu aku but kek. nih semua gara2 cerita Tiramisu TV3. aku jadik cam terus lapar dan craving tiramisu..jadinyer aku google lah resepi tiramisu- "Resepi Tiramisu Mudah"...  memang kalau aku google resepi, aku akan taip 'mudah'. tapi mudah2 pon kadang tak menjadi uols. :( . cam haritu aku buat donut yang kate "lembut sampai orang xde gigi pon leyh makan", padahal bile aku buat, keras cam ko pakai polident pon still leh tercabut gigi ok..T_T (haha, padahal sendiri punya salah..gagaga).


tapi yang tiramisu nih memang senang, kalau aku kata senang, maknanya memang senang ok..(eyp, aku cakap senang, bukan cantik ok..so kek comot atas tuh senang). 

Resepi aku amik from Fatin.
Cake:-
4 eggs
150g caster sugar
100g plain flour

Cream:-
250ml whipping cream
250gm cream cheese
150gm caster sugar

to moisten & flavour the cake:- (mix all together in a cup)
1 sachet instant coffee/3 tbsp of nescafe or coffee
220ml warm water
1/2 tsp coffee emulco/coffee essence (optional, just to give it a bit more flavour)
*yang nih, aku tak gunakan air sangat and no coffee emulco.

Die ada 3 kategori - kek, cream dan serbuk..
and sebab ada kek span cappucino kat Jusco, aku skip part kek, so aku just prepare cream and serbuk jer..so easy right? :p

So prepare cream- sebatikan/pukul cream cheese with sugar babeh! bila dah sebati, campur whip cream sket2 sampai die ringan and structure cam cream..haha..

Then, kek tuh belah dua (belah melintang ok, bukan menegak mahupun batu belah batu bertangkup), taruh instant coffee kat atas belahan kek tadi sampai betul2 cam cantik tutup permukaan kek. Then, sapu cream tadi. after that, ayak koko pulak... So ingat this 3C-  coffee, cream, cocoa.

Then, tutup ngan separuh lagi bahagian kek tuh dan ulang 3C. Cream tuh leyh lah coat seluruh kek. kalau nak tabur choc rice pun ok. lagi yummy. and sejukkan dalam peti ais.... :) Siappp..

No Ordinary Doughnuts

Salam. 

Hi!

i made doughnuts..yes, i know. me? baking? what? kann..
i am really not a fan of anything related to yeast. Me and yeast is like me with green hair.
i dont like the waiting, the covering with dampened clothes whatsoever but because i want to eat homemade doughnuts, i have to do it.

While preparing the doughnuts...

I didnt realise that warm water that i used wasnt that warm anymore when i added the yeast. So i hopelessly waited for 10 minutes but there was no effing single foam came out. i told you, me and yeast were like...not ngam ok. so, i decided to heat it up over slow heat. and the precious foam came out like beauty pageant.

So i carried on with the recipe, flour, blabla..But still, dont hope for a good ending here peeps. though the foam came out, my dough did not rise as it supposed to be. it must be something went wrong somewhere....and the rest of the story was history.

Post preparation

Sorry i didnt put any pictures here people coz I am being modest..
Nooo!!! coz the doughnuts were not gorgeous T__T
They were soo not doughnuts. Makan satu kenyang satu hari okeh.
my doughnuts were not soft and not fluffy! They were actually hard like rock and stuffed like nasi impit. 
and you know what, i actually followed a recipe that said, "gerenti lembut gile donut nih, orang takde gigi pun boleh makan". So i was like..yeay!! but ..these were not ordinary doughnuts. 

So giving no craps, I still served the No Ordinary Doughnuts to my family. 
To cover heat things up, I put heaps of chocolate topping and chocolate rice all over the doughnuts.
and of course, presentation was sometimes like a hidden curriculum- making the doughnuts looked yummy than the reality. and normally, my family would eat most food that i prepared - so i am one lucky girl with No Ordinary Doughnuts.

p/s: I am so not in the mood of working. T_T
